Patricia Rodgers

blends art and entertainment
.
Patricia Rodgers Patricia Rodgers describes herself as a wild blend of artist and teacher. She is an entertainer full of information and techniques she can’t wait to share. Every new product on the market opens the door to new techniques, and every stitch leads her in a new direction. “As a machine artist and teacher, my goal is to see my techniques come alive through other hands and minds,” she says. The classes she is offering here explore the difference between free motion stitching and free motion embroidery, introduce a new technique for image transfer with embellished stitching, and turn cloth into “jewels.” “I hope to expand the ways in which students see and make artistic choices. I love seeing students experience an explosion of creativity in their work,” says the machine arts teacher.
