Show your support by donating a lap robe you have made, or toiletry items. Or both.
Prize for best lap robe to support our veterans
This year Celebration of Quilts celebrates the contributions of our
wounded veterans with donations of lap robes and toiletries to the
VA Hospital in Aspinwall.
Make a lap robe at least 48” square and bring it to Piecing It
Together, (412) 364-2440, before the show so it can be displayed.
Fabric is available, or use your own stash.
Show attendees get one vote for each item they bring to the show:
combs, brushes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, writing utensils, notebooks,
writing paper, envelopes, shaving cream, razors, razor blades,
underwear (shorts and tee shirts) and loose fitting white socks.
Sheryl Robinson of Muddy Creek Originals is supplying the prize, the book
Women of Grace and Beauty and fabric kits to accompany the book.
